Reliable for selling diamonds

I've sold several diamond necklaces and a pair of diamond earrings with Worthy over the past couple of years. This recent experience was just as consistent as the others. The secure shipping and quick appraisal process are always a plus. They sent me the pre-paid shipping kit fast, and the GIA grading process was thorough. The auction for my diamond earrings went well, and I received the payment as expected. It's why I keep coming back; I know what to expect, and they deliver every time. It saves me the trouble of going to a local jeweler and feeling like I'm not getting the best offer. They've always been reliable.

Easy way to sell a watch

So, I decided to sell my old Omega watch, and Worthy seemed like a good bet. It was pretty easy, just filled out the form online, and they sent a kit for shipping. They did all the appraisal stuff and got it ready for auction. It sold quicker than I thought, and I was happy with the final amount. Way less hassle than trying to sell it myself.

Good value for my old jewelry

This was my first time using Worthy, and I was looking to get the best price for some estate jewelry I inherited. I heard about their auction model, which felt like a good way to maximize the sale. I sent in a sapphire jewelry piece and a few diamond earrings. They handled the appraisal and photography which saved me time and money. The final offer was fair, and I received the funds quickly. It felt worth the commission, especially considering the professional service and how easy they made it for a first-timer. Definitely a practical choice if you're trying to get good value.

Smooth process, good communication

I used Worthy to sell a pre-owned Rolex watch. The initial submission was simple online. They sent a prepaid, insured shipping label and kit, which was a nice touch. Once they received the watch, they kept me updated through their portal and email about the appraisal and cleaning process. The photography they did looked really professional. The auction took about a week, and I was able to track the bids. The final payout was deposited into my account a few business days after the sale closed. Customer support was responsive when I had a question about the GIA grading report for the diamond on the watch face. Overall, a very organized and efficient way to sell high-end items. It's much less stressful than trying to deal with private buyers.

Good sale, quick process

Sold a diamond ring through Worthy. The process was straightforward, and I got a decent price. Shipping was secure, and I received my payment within a few days of the auction ending. No complaints.

I'm selling a ring for the first time, are there any codes or deals for new sellers? Trying to maximize my payout.

Sometimes they have like a first-time seller bonus, or referral links give you a bit extra. Keep an eye out for those.

Yeah, I think I got a sign-up bonus when I first used them a while back. Look around for a referral code, that's usually how you get those little boosts, it adds to your final payment.

How do these guys compare to The RealReal for selling a Rolex? Worried about getting lowballed.

A Alex Bennett 2 months ago
Worthy specializes in watches and jewelry, so their buyers are usually more focused. The RealReal is more general luxury, so sometimes things can get a bit lost there.

I've used both. Worthy felt like they had more expert buyers for my specific watch. The RealReal has a bigger audience but also a lot more stuff competing, so it depends on what you're selling. For high-end watches, I'd lean Worthy personally.

Thinking of selling my grandma's old diamond ring, but I'm kinda nervous about sending it off. Is the shipping insured or do I need to worry about that?

N Noor 2 months ago
Yeah, they got that covered. I sent a watch in last year and it was insured end to end. You don't have to do anything extra.

Can confirm, they handle all the insurance for shipping. It's one of their main selling points tbh, so you're good.

Anyone know if Worthy is actually legit? Like, I see ads but how do I know my stuff won't just disappear into the ether?

G Greg 2 months ago
Used them a few times for some old jewelry. Got paid every time, no issues. They're definitely not a scam.

They're legit. I sold an engagement ring through them after a breakup and the process was super smooth, got a good price too. Felt way safer than trying to sell on Craigslist or something.
